Dandy was very special here at Springmill Corgis. He finished his Championship May 17, 1998 at the Kokomo KC. at 3 years old. 



He now lives in the Chicago IL area with his special  family... Greg, Lana, Sara and Brittany Kemp.

JoJo was bred by  Gayle Garvin, Garvin's Cardigan & Pembroke Welsh Corgis. She came to live with us as a puppy. She easily finished her Championship with some very nice wins. She produced two litters for us. Her daughter, Punkin by our Ronnie can be seen below.


JoJo, now known affectionately as "Joey" lives in the Columbus OH area with the Hullingers, BethAnn and Jeff.

Powder was only shown very sparingly before deciding the show ring wasn't for her!  She is pointed and won a very large 9-12 puppy bitch class under Barbara Ludowici of Australia at the 1998 PWCCA National. We decided not to pursue  a show career for her since she really didn't like it. She had a litter sired by "Jamie", Ch. Cinonnie Rigel,  (see boys) which produced our "Travis", Ch. Springmills Go for the Gold. (see boys).

On June 18, 2003 Powder delivered one bitch puppy, Springmills Summer Games (see girls),  sired by "Elvis" (see boys)

Powder now lives in the Columbus OH area with her new Special friend Ethel Norman.

Punkin was retired with 6 points toward her Championship. She was Best Puppy at the Lakeshore PWC Club's Puppy Match June 10, 2000 under Breeder Judge Tammy Johnston, "Riverun".





She now lives with Arika and Greg Strock in the Indianapolis IN area.

Buttercup was bred by Sue Neave, Faerietale PWC and Barb duPree, Curig PWC both of Canada and is sired by our English import Jamie. (see Boys)  She was BEST PUPPY at the 2001 Garden State Specialty under breeder Judge Ms. Joan Hutton, Bojojamile PWC of Austrailia. She also won the Open Bitch class at the 2002 PWC Club of Atlanta's Specialty under breeder Judge Mr. Tim Mathiesen, Nebriowa PWC.


Buttercup  finished her Championship at the Echo Hill KC show June 14, 2003 under Judge Ms. Keke Kahn going Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed!


"Buttercup" spent her summer vacation in Canada with her breeders Sue Neave and Barb duPree where they quickly completed her Championship.

Buttercup has been spayed and is retired to a home in Alabama! We will be running on her young daughter "Mia" Springmills Butter Me Up sired by Elvis (see boys) watch for her in the show ring.

Olive is the younger sister of  Jamie, (see Boys). Pam Hudson and I  imported her from Ken and Lily Beazley, Cinonnie PWC  in early 2001 and she lived with Pam. She was shown at the 2001 PWCCA National Specialty by her breeder Lilian Beazley and won her 9-12 mo. puppy class under breeder Judge Ms. Terry Hansen Mitchell, Pinemeade PWC.


Olive occasionally came to live with us. Pam and I took turns showing her.  Olive completed her Championship on November 7, 2003 at the Greater Muskegon KC show in Grand Rapids MI under breeder Judge Lanalee Jorgenson with me showing her.


Olive is the 5th Champion for her dam, Charity. She followed in the “paw” prints of her big brothers Ch. Cinonnie Rigel, “Jamie” and Ch. Cinonnie Regulus, “Niles”, her big sister Ch. Cinonnie Vulpecula, “Daphne”, and her litter brother Ch. Cinonnie Regal Splendor, “Owen”. She also has a litter brother who is a Champion in Finland, Finnish Ch. Cinonnie Strike The Gold, “Scott”.  Their sire “Mickey” already has his ROM, and Olive is his 11th American Champion. He has several more in England and other countries!


Olive has one Champion son, Ch. Calloway De'ja' Vu (see latest news and scroll down to the news from the Ohio Valley Specialty) who finished his Championship by going Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex at the 2005 Ohio Valley Specialty under Breeder Judge Peggy Kessler.

Olive now lives with Elizabeth Atwell in Delaware, OH along with her new best friend Nipper.

Sachet is the great granddaughter of our Tillie. She has only been shown a couple times. She won her regular class at the PWC Club of the Garden State under Breeder Judge Leif-Herman Wiburg, Siggen PWC of Norway and was second in her Sweepstakes class under Breeder Judge Liz Sessions, Woodbine to "Lisa Marie" (see above). Sachet went along on a trip to Canada and was shown in  the Ontario/Quebec Section match where she went Best Puppy In Match under Breeder Judge Bill Kennedy. Willoan PWC of Canada. Sachet also tagged along to  Missouri where she was shown a the Gaitway PWC Club's second A match. she was awarded BEST IN MATCH by Breeder Judge Linda Galphin, Foxllyn PWC.  Soon we will take her to some more  shows where she can actually try to win some points!


Sachet is now living with Lauren and Tommy Whyte in New York

Springmills Summer Games



Summer is sired by Elvis and is a half sister to Travis. She has been shown very sparingly. At the Palmetto and North Texas Specialties in 2004 she placed well in her classes. She has not been in the show ring since March 2004 as we have been concentrating on others and just letting her grow up. We hope to have her back out in 2005


After a year off to grow up Summer finally made it back into the show ring. What a nice return it was going WINNERS BITCH, BEST OF WINNERS & BEST OF BREED from the Bred By class, then onto a GROUP 4!!All under Cardigan Breeder Judge Marieann Gladstone, "Aragorn" at the Central Ohio Kennel club on April 24, 2005


Summer has moved to Texas and will be shown by our good friend D'Lynn Jones of LoneStar Corgis. We hope to breed her in the spring

"Miss Cher" is waiting in the wings. She's been shown one time at the puppy match on Nov. 18th in Columbus OH where she received BOB Junior Corgi puppy and  a Junior puppy GROUP 4.


Cher placed well in her classes at the Ohio Valley Specialty and she won her class under Judge Ron Lambert "Lamin" at the North Texas Specialty and placed 4th in sweeps.


Cher has moved to Oklahoma!  She is now living with Lynda and Bob Portiss and is eagerly learning obedience and agility! Watch for updates on her performance show career!

Lisa is the litter sister to "Elvis" (see Boys).   After having mostly taken second stage early in the year to her brother , Lisa Marie decided it was her turn to "sing"!  At the PWC club of Greater Atlanta she was Best in Sweepstakes under Breeder Judge Mr. Robert Simpson, Vangard PWC and Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy under Breeder Judge Miss Cush MacNally, Gorthleck Pembroke and Cardigan WC of England for a 4 pt. major. Then it was off to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Garden State's Specialty where she was awarded Best of Winners under Breeder Judge Leif-Herman Wiburg, Siggen PWC of Norway for a 5 pt. major. Lisa adds another 5 points taking Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at the the Gaitway PWC Club's supported entry during the Mississippi Valley Show under Breeder Judge Dianne Connolly, Llandian PWC. 


Lisa finished her Championship November 13, 2003 at the Ohio Valley Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club'ssupported entry of the Sandusky KC Show taking Best of Winners  for her 4th major under Judge Mrs. Betty-Anne Stenmark.


Lisa was bred to Ethan and produced our Cher (see below) in May of 2005. We hope for another litter from here Spring of 06.


Lisa became ill in Feb. of 07 and had to be spayed. She has now moved to KY to live with her brother, Petey and Michael Zoeller and Wendy Dunn in Louiville

Liam BIM Potomac 2005We are happy to welcome Liam  to Springmill Corgis!


Liam was bred by Gigi Fitzgerald of Foxtale Corgis. Nancy judged Liam at the 2005 Potomac Match June 25, 2005. He was her BEST PUPPY IN MATCH. We did a lot of arm twisting to convince Gigi to let this puppy with the beautiful face come to live here at Springmill Corgis.  We've not had the chance to get Liam out to many shows since Nancy had foot surgery in September of '05 but we hope to get him out in the show ring in '06


Liam is line bred on the bloodlines of our Jamie, Cinonnie Rigel (see above) and  is a fun little dog with the sweetest of personalities! Thank you Gigi for sharing him with us.


Liam just didn't grow on to the size we had hoped and he has now gone to live with Jan and Vondale Graham in Tulsa Okalahoma. Vondale and Liam are starting agility training. Watch for stories about their endeavors.

"Jazz" is a half sister to Lisa and Elvis. At her fist show, the Palmetto Pembroke Corgi Club's Specialty, February 12, 2004 she won the 6-9 puppy bitch class under Norwegian Breeder Judge Anne Indergaard "Annwn" On May 8, 2004 under Breeder Judge Sally Wynn "Red Oak" Jazz went Best Puppy In Match at the Ohio Valley PWC club's match. On a trip to Canada  May 22, 2004 Jazz went BEST Puppy at the Ontario/ Quebec Section Specialty in Canada under Breeder Judge Chris Blance "Penliath" of England!


Her first show weekend in 2005 Jazz won Best of Winners  for a 3 point major at the Oakland County Kennel Club show. Then March 19th 2005 Jazz was awarded WINNERS BITCH then onto Best of Winners for a 5 point major, at the Ohio Valley PWC Club's Specialty under breeder Judge Peggy Kessler, Wakefield PWC.


Jazz" went WINNERS, Best OF WINNERS and on to BEST OF BREED from the bred by class over Specials at the Medina KC show on July 23, 2005 under Judge Mrs. Eileen Pimlott. Then she went on to award her a GROUP 2 ! She took BOB the next day as well


JAZZ completed her CHAMPIONSHIP at the Central Indiana Kennel Club on February 11, 2006,  going WINNERS, BEST OF WINNERS and BEST OF BREED
for a 3 point major under renown Judge Mrs. Robert S. Forsyth .

All  points won from the Bred by Exhibitor Class!

Ch. Springmills The Jazz Singer 4-27-06

Our young man, Jolson started his show career at 7 months of age with two days at the Cleveland Classic shows in December. He was awarded RESERVE WINNERS both days to majors from the 6-9 puppy class.   Then it was on to 3 days in Tallmadge where he was again awarded RESERVE WINNERS at all 3 shows and two of the days were to majors.


Jolson was awarded major RESERVE WINNERS DOG under Judge Marieann Gladstone, "Aragorn" at the Greenville KC Show Feb. 16th and WINNERS DOG for his first points, a 3 point major at the Hendersonville Kennel Club show on February 18th under Mr. James Fredericksen. Then at the Evansville Kennel club on Saturday March 17th during the Louisville cluster of shows Jolson was awarded WINNERS DOG &  BEST OF WINNERS for a 4 point major under Cardigan Breeder Judge Leah James.

Jolson was awarded WINNERS DOG & BEST OF WINNERS at the Licking River Kennel club show April 23rd under Judge Desmond Murphy for 2 more points bringing his total to 9 with both majors!


Jolson has moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma! He is now living with Lynda and Bob Portiss Lynda is going to work on getting his Championship while he learns the beginnings of obedience and agility! Watch for  news from the Conformation ring plus updates on his performance show career.


Jolson completed his Championship on December 1, 2007and will now be concentrating on his Performance career!
